About Product Camp

ProductCampNYC has become the premiere event for Product Management, Product Marketing, and Marketing professionals to teach, learn and network with one another. ProductCamp is an un-conference, meaning unlike “traditional” conferences, we don’t pick the topics—YOU DO!

Bring your ideas, lead a session in your area of expertise, facilitate a roundtable discussion, network, or volunteer.

The ProductCamp idea began a little over three years ago, and has become a worldwide phenomenon with more than 25 such camps held in cities all over the world!

The New York event started in 2008, so we’re going into our fourth year.

ProductCampNYC 2012 will be held Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Microsoft’s wonderful midtown Manhattan facility.  Last year’s NYC event was an exciting day full of incredibly valuable content from presenters, as well as unlimited opportunities for networking.

ProductCampNYC is a little bit unique, because New York is unique. Most other PCAMPS are almost exclusively focused on software and technology.  Here in New York, we have a diverse business community, and as a result, a diverse product management community that will be reflected in the attendees and presenters at our event.  While we’ll still have plenty of software people and topics, we will also have great representation from people in advertising, media and entertainment, telecom, high-tech manufacturing, pharma, fashion, financial services and insurance, and many more industries. Since we all share the same challenges and opportunities as product professionals, it creates a broad and interesting conversation.

Come and join us for a fantastic day of learning and networking!

The first thing everyone must do is to register to attend. Next, if you’d like to present or moderate a session please sign-up to speak. If you want to volunteer to help on the day of the event please sign up to volunteer.
